Holiday Party
The Selby Holiday Celebration will be on Friday, 5 December beginning at 5:30pm. We REALLY need some munchie donations!! Check out the SignUp:

Don't forget about the Ugly Sweater Contest!! Wear your worst...or best...just wear an ugly sweater!! There will be a craft for the kiddies and Santa will arrive at 6:30pm. Bring your favorite drinks for you and the little ones!
Firehouse Santa
The Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting Firehouse Santa again this year! Santa will stop by the Selby Community Center on Sunday, 6 December at 7:00pm. Next year, Santa will go back to visiting specified streets in Selby. Please bring a wrapped gift labelled for a boy or a girl and the recommend age.
The Selby Online Small Business Village
Small businesses are great places to find unique gifts for the holidays! You're also helping out the entrepreneur. A small business page will be set up for the holidays on the Selby website. If you would like to have your small business included, then please email (SelbyBay@gmail.com) your business's URL, name and any seasonal sales!
Teen Bank
We're looking for teens who would like to help out some neighbors and make a little money. We have already had a few folks looking for some help. Now we have to find the help! If you have a teen who would like to help out a neighbor and earn some money, then send email SelbyBay@gmail.com your teen's name, age and what they can help out with. Please include a guardian's name and a contact email. If you are a neighbor looking for a little help, then please email your name, contact email and a job/s you're looking to fill. A few ideas are snow shoveling, babysitting, leaf raking, pet sitting, lawn mowing, etc.
NORAD Santa
Every year NORAD keeps us updated to the goings-on at the North Pole. When the big night comes, NORAD tracks Santa through the skies and reports back what Santa is doing around the world! NORAD Santa is online now! Check it out! www.noradsanta.org
Edgewater Books
Edgewater Books is sponsoring an anonymous family this holiday season and raising money to present the family with a gift of food! Mr. Ken's goal is $300! Help Edgewater Books by donating what you can and making one family's holiday truly magical.

Selby Holiday Events
This week, Selby's holiday events will be hashed out. Details will be out by week's end. To all house decorators...start stringing those lights and get those snowmen on the lawn!! Also, considering the incidents we have had around Selby, it might be a good idea to take a picture of your lawn decor just in case something goes missing.
